beautiful vessels from our field trip today. We went to a potters studio and learned about how he makes these wonderful traditional korean pots. We got to make our own cups. It was so much fun.
On the way to the filed trip. These kids are so lovely. The one on the right is such a kind spirited boy. I had the midlde schoolers give a speech about who their hero is. They all had such interesting answers, like SHINee and Helen Keller, Messi and Ronaldo but this boy's hero's were his parents. He said they were his hero's because they were so kind gentle and generous. It was one of those things that was so beautiful and heartwarming you could cry, but wait, crying in school, in like your third day of class hmm maybe not!! I just love their eyes, such beautiful children!

this poor guy is the only boy in a class of maybe ten or twelve students. He handles it pretty well... he mostly handles it by spending as much time as possible with another mostly male grade.

this boy always comments on my clothes. "Fashion good, teacher!" He has also started calling me "beautiful teacher! Beautiful teacher!" instead of saying my name to get my attention. or he will say " Pretty Sara! Pretty Sara!"  Well, he certainly knows how to get on somebodies good side :)

The boy with the glasses is a hoot and a half. Almost every day he tells me how smart he is. He also knows an incredible amount about soccer. He knew who Korea played in the quarter finals and semi finals in 2002... I think he was like 5or 6 years old then!
