This tasted delicious. It was some kind of very spicy pork dish and I absolutely loved it. It made me terribly horribly ill. I will look at this picture the next time I want to eat this, as a reminder of what is shortly to follow.
I adore these kids. Seriously adore them. They are in the fifth grade and I would call them the leaders of the fifth grade. I feel like they are the ones that taught me how to teach from this particular curriculum because when I made a mistake with the CD rom or didn't understand some exercise they would say " No! Teacher, space bar! No, now we play a game. Teacher! Class is over. Now you should go to lunch." When the class gets to rowdy, which as it is a fifth grade class is always an immediate threat they are the ones to yell " shut the mouth!!" Or " Joe young ee hae ( something like that)!!!" which is the Korean equivalent of shut up or be quiet. I have heard that if these students are ever not on the side of their teacher the entire class can turn against the teacher and make them miserable. I go to great lengths to appease them. " Do you want to play this game more? Just one more time? Oh, you would like to type the answer into the computer even though it is your third time this class period and ten of your meeker classmates who haven't had a chance yet would like to as well? Be my guest."

the view from my middle school classroom window. I work with the palm trees!!!

There is a small park near my apt that I absolutely love to wander around. I was having a weekend wander when I noticed a tree shaking in the strangest way, convulsing almost. When I walked up to it for a closer inspection I noticed these two kids had climbed up it and were shaking it :) so funny.

Found on a shirt in lotte mart. I love lotte mart. I wish I could live there.
